T&Cs and Members Charter – our promise to you
Because Healthcare Professionals, their needs and those of their families are at the very heart of everything we do at Healthcare Landscape, we decided that with the Healthcare Professionals Voice we wanted to give you more than just terms and conditions of membership. So we decided to write a Members Charter to tell you more about what we do and what our obligations are to you.
The following may seem quite formal but we felt that it was appropriate, because it illustrates your importance to us. We have also included the terms and conditions which you need to accept to become a member.

First and foremost please remember your privacy matters; this is essential for you to know as a participant in our surveys.
- You will NEVER be asked to buy anything or contribute to any organisation.
- We will NEVER sell or send your name (or email address) to another party who might want to sell you something.
- Any information you provide to us will be combined with responses given by others. Your individual information will be kept strictly confidential and anonymous.
- Through your membership you will be asked to participate only in market research in the areas of healthcare and medicine.
Healthcare Landscape has a number of other projects which we run that we think you may find of interest. In particular we run a social network called The Icare Café. The Café itself is not a “research space” but it is an opportunity for you to contact and meet with people in situations similar to yours. From time to time we will be starting new projects so, of course, we will keep you informed.
In our view the following are the basic standards to which any marketing researcher should conform. You have our word that we will abide by these principles.
- We always obey any relevant laws in the country in which our research is conducted.
- Your co-operation in a market research project is entirely voluntary at all stages. You have the right to stop the interview at any point.
- Your anonymity must be strictly preserved. If you, on request from the researcher, give permission for data to be passed on in a form which that allows you to be personally identified, then you will first be told whom the information will be supplied to, and the purpose for which it will be used. We will ensure that the information will not be used for any non-research purpose and that the recipient of the information has agreed to conform to the requirements of this charter.
- The exception to this would be if you reported an adverse reaction to a particular pharmaceutical product and the project had been commissioned by the manufacturer of that product. In this case we have to report details of the finding back to the pharmaceutical’s manufacturer. This is to make sure that the reporting of these incidents is as accurate as possible, to help the manufacturers provide the best possible healthcare products. However, this can still be reported anonymously if you wish.
- We take all reasonable precautions to ensure that you are in no way harmed or adversely affected as a result of your participation in a market research project.
- We, of course, take special care when interviewing children and young people. The informed consent of the parent or responsible adult will be obtained before any interview with a child.
- We will tell you (normally at the beginning of the interview) if observation techniques or recording equipment are being used. If you are opposed to the material being used, then it will be destroyed or deleted. Your privacy must not be infringed by the use of such methods.
- You will be able to check without difficulty the credentials of our researchers. We must not act in a way which could bring discredit on market research as a business.
- We do not make any false claims about the abilities of Healthcare Landscape and the Healthcare Professionals Voice.
- We ensure at all times the security of all our member records through strict security and secure servers.
- We act as researchers, thus we do not conduct any activities such as selling which fall outside the remit of market research. This means that by your membership you will not be sold anything.
We try to ensure the best possible research experience for you and your family.
Like most companies Healthcare Landscape is a member of the relevant professional bodies. One of the main reasons for this is that we can keep up with best practice in research. All these societies have strict codes of conduct to which we adhere.

Healthcare Landscape is the owner of the Healthcare Professionals Voice website and is entirely responsible for operating this website. If you do not agree with the terms of use please do not use this website.

Services agreement
Once you have registered with the Healthcare Professionals Voice and completed the initial questionnaire, you become a valued member of the community.
We offer you the opportunity to take part in market research healthcare surveys and, by your agreement to participate, we agree on our part to abide by MRS’s code of conduct. This agreement is a contract for provision of services and shall not be a legal partnership between you and Healthcare Landscape. This website shall only be used in accordance with this agreement and all applicable laws.
Healthcare Landscape obligations
- We will always consider your eligibility to take part in each of the surveys.
- The selection of a community member for survey participation is dependent on the requirements of the client and the survey. From the total eligible population within the Healthcare Professionals Voice, a random selection may be made.
The community member’s obligations
- The member must be over 16 years of age.
- From time to time, respondents younger than 16 years may be asked to participate in healthcare surveys, if appropriate, subject to consent from a parent/carer.
Termination of agreement
- The Healthcare Professionals Voice may terminate this agreement and your membership of the community at any time by giving you 30 days notice.
- Should you wish to terminate the agreement, we will offer you the opportunity to leave the community in any email we send you.
Intellectual Property Rights
- Healthcare Landscape owns all intellectual property rights and all copyright shown in this website, unless otherwise stated.
- Healthcare Landscape will allow you to download, copy or print any part of this website you may wish, with the proviso that it is only for your own personal use and has no commercial bearing.
Liability limitations
- Healthcare Landscape shall not be liable in any way for any damages from your use or inability to use the website, either directly or indirectly.
- Healthcare Landscape shall in no way be liable for death, personal injury or fraud.
Disclaimer of Warranty
- The Healthcare Professionals Voice cannot guarantee that the website will be virus-free or run without interruptions beyond our control.
- We cannot guarantee the accuracy of the information.
Data Protection
- Any personal information submitted by you will be dealt with in accordance with our Terms and Conditions and of course with any legislation and best practice regarding Adverse Event Reporting.
Changes to the Terms of the Policy
- We may institute some changes to the website from time to time to improve our service to you. Should this happen, and our terms are modified, Healthcare Landscape will assume your acceptance by your continued use of the website and participation in research studies.
Jurisdiction
- This agreement is governed by the Laws of England.
